Former F1 boss Eddie Jordan to complete new Top Gear trio: report

The hits just keep on coming over at Top Gear; a day after it was announced that Matt LeBlanc of Friends and Joey fame would be joining Chris Evans as a host of the 23rd season of the popular British motoring show, reports have F1 journalist Eddie Jordan as the third host of the show.

So far, Top Gear broadcaster BBC hasn’t confirmed this, but the Daily Record reports that all that’s left between a potential agreement for the two parties is the formality of signing away.

Not to mention the parties involved would be loathe to take the focus off of LeBlanc, with the announcement coming just yesterday that he would be joining the show.

If this is true, the new show will have quite an eclectic cast of characters, from a radio star, to a TV star, to a proper auto journo.

If an official statement is on the way, we’re expecting it sometime next week.
